Somehow she and they never ended up on a bill for a Feztival or Feastival I went to...Wish I got to see her in her prime.

Carnival and Wonder had very much heavy rotation on Y100Was Y100 playing her solo? I suppose they were because I felt like I never stopped hearing Kind and Generous
I see Aimee Mann checked in at 203 with the second most famous song that was inexplicably written about the love life of a dorky Canadian comedian. Sadly the most famous still awaits us.
Not liking her and not thinking she’s talented can’t be the same discussion. I loathe everything Stevie Nicks as ever done, but I know she’s talented.
My third song off my list today. My #9 song, I'll Stand By You by the Pretenders is #153. Pretenders now are tied for the second most songs. And another double shot as it followed Message of Love.
3 songs to go from my list.
That is maybe their sixth best song. "Talk of the Town" is probably my favorite, or "Message of Love," or "Middle of the Road."
"Everybody heardddddddddddddd ... it was the talk of the town." F***ing gorgeous.
This song, if it were all up to me and everything was perfect in life, would want to be my wedding song. That is maybe their sixth best song. "Talk of the Town" is probably my favorite, or "Message of Love," or "Middle of the Road."

One of their earlier more punky songs Tattooed Love Boys is my favorite. This song rips!
I love the way her voice plays off the more poppy sounds of the ones I listed, plus "Don't Get Me Wrong," which is so sweet.
I'll tell you what else needs to be near the top.
Natalie Merchant? I saw her do a solo show at Constitution Hall in DC. She was fantastic.Wish I got to see her in her prime.
She since lost her voice and has been needing surgeries. But is back to singingNatalie Merchant? I saw her do a solo show at Constitution Hall in DC. She was fantastic.
I don't remember exactly when I saw her, it was post-10,000 Maniacs. Some time in the '80s or '90s.She since lost her voice and has been needing surgeries. But is back to singing
Which song? "You're With Stupid"? Is the most famous one "Man on the Moon"? I can't remember if Andy Kaufman was Canadian or not.
Ah, you're definitely into the 90's. Too bad they never came back together.I don't remember exactly when I saw her, it was post-10,000 Maniacs. Some time in the '80s or '90s.
Yeah, most likely. According to this listing of her past shows, the only one at that venue without 10000 Maniacs was in 1996.Ah, you're definitely into the 90's. Too bad they never came back together.
Believe it or not, apparently "Save Me" was written for this guy as he was going through one of the nastier divorces in recent history:
Don't get me wrong, I love Kids in the Hall as much as the next guy, but I spent a solid year listening to that song over and over again and never once did I imagine Dave Foley had anything to do with it.
The most famous song is the worst song of all time, and it was written by our least favorite female singer-songwriter on the planet about this freaking guy:
Also, I just realized I could have gone farther with that, i.e. dorky Canadian comedians named Dave.
Edit: Oh, are the gifs still not giffing. Well, ok then.
