Perhaps Chicago's best song for all you oldies out there: 25 or 6 to 4. Explained to me in the 80s; a guy writing a song 25 or 26 minutes before 4am in the morning. Sounds reasonable. As so many times I stated before, in the late 60s and early 70s, driving the "circuit" between McDonalds's on Main Street Newark to Prices Corner Shopping Center's Gino's [had the Gino Giant burger plus KFC chicken, when it was decent] via Kirkwood Hwy, blasting this song on our tinny car radios..........also blasted this song on the way to Rehoboth Beach on moonlite Friday nights, bottle of Boone's Farm apple wine sitting between our legs, telling jokes, and yelling out to pretty women in there parents' Pontiac or Buick. I guess we were not politically correct were we??

This is the live version with a respectable guitar solo by Kath, lead guitarist. Lamm, the organizer of the band is playing the organ. Hohner Planet. Cetera sang this song.

Definitely my favorite song of theirs. One of my favorite songs of that decade.

Terry Kath could have been a guitar legend, and reportedly Jim Hendrix said he was the best ever.

For you Canucks:

My favorite Gordon song:

He actually changed a few lyrics when more details became available.

An Austin band that never got the attention they deserved, similar to Gomez in that they never had that breakout hit, but a deep, professional body of work that would put many better known bands to shame.

Hell
Bryan Adams and Joan Jett took the city back to the 80's last night. Awesome sounding and really engaging with the small crowd. Top deck of the WFC was unsold and they still were moving people around.

Best Chicago song. I love this cover version of it.
