It's always the same pattern, ain't it?

First listen, I'm underwhelmed.
Second listen, I'm disappointed.
Third listen, I'm intrigued.

By the time I get to the tenth spin, it's like "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLIIIIIIIIEEEEEENNNNNN!"

The only song that still hasn't clicked with me is Awaken the Master. Chorus is kinda flat - one too many times using the "let's do double time verses and half time chorus" bag of tricks.

I never really delved all that deeply into Def Leppard’s music but there is no finer example of arena rock done right and a reminder of the power of melody.
