Kuemper made the correct play. He's a left handed catcher, so he'd have to cross his arms over to freeze it on his right side.

The correct play is to redirect the puck in the corner away from Pettersson. It hops over his blade at the last minute unfortunately. If he doesn't come out to play the puck, Pettersson has a free one timer from the slot which probably goes in as well.

There doesn't seem to be any kind of systematic approach to offense. So it's forwards kind of sort of just trying their best to do something. Hard to judge him in this vanilla ass system.
