GDT: Washington at New York Pt. II

Coaches adjust to the talent on their roster. The roster just isn't that good offensively. I think if Tortorella thought he could play the Tampa Bay system with this team, he would.
 
It's tied, but once again, Rangers go onto their 5 on 5 PK. So irritating.

On a side note, I'm enjoying reading Steve fehr's emails and text messages, lol.

Why am I watching? To see the Rangers win a freakin playoff game! Humor and sarcasm are needed during strenuous times my friend. It's a very tense atmosphere, trying to lighten the mood a little bit :)

You can't tell me you didn't laugh when Nash missed that hit that he was lining up since he entered the offensive zone?
 
stepan turtles in the playoffs. not strong on the puck, loses puck battles bad passes right and left. been okay on the penalty kill tho, but not getting it done offensively.

richards hasn't been noticeable, which is actually good because in games 1 & 2 he was noticeable for all the wrong reasons.

I ****ing hate you John Tortorella. Zucc is working his butt off, makes that great pass to Brassard and you bench him yet Pyatt is getting first line minutes?? I almost don't want to make it all the way just to see this assclown gone.

If I were him, I'd get out of here and go to a team that appreciates talent.

I disagree partially.... I think we can open the offense a little bit, but we can't keep it stifled and stuff like this.
 
Honestly, I'd liken this series to flipping 7 coins. The games are so close, and honestly neither team are doing enough to run away with it. The first two games were insanely close as is this one. Even if Washington sweeps this series, that would be an exaggeration of the differential between the two teams. Flip a coin 4 times. The chances of getting 4 heads may seem low, but as they occur, the odds increase big time.

Game 1 - 6.25%
Game 2 - 12.5%
Game 3 - 25.00%
Game 4 - 50.00%

Honestly, the way this series is going, the winner will be determined purely by bounces.
 
Do the people who keep complaining about the game, the team, etc., asking why they are still watching or threatening to turn it off not have "Power" buttons on their remote? Do they not have channel change buttons? Do they only get one channel? If it bothers you that much, turn the game off and stop complaining.

See? Life will be better for you.

I'm not asking for a Tampa Bay system. I'm asking for this team to stop being cowards and stop standing in front of their own net the whole game.

The team will get shredded by Washington if they open up.

What we need, is for guys to actually start playing better. Beat Washington's forecheck. Do a little better on your own. Stop coughing up the puck. Look to pass everywhere, not just backwards (Stepan...)

This team isn't good enough to play any other way.Sather dealt Gaborik in the hopes that we could return to last year's game.
