Anyone know if he’s definitely a winger or has simply been forced to wing due to the insane center depth in Winnipeg? I’ve watched most of the ICE games this season and really like this player. He’s played exclusively on the wing in Winnipeg. I just wasn’t sure if that was always the expectation for him or if it’s a result of circumstance.

he’s a winger right now. He’s always been small and hit a growth spurt before this season so maybe he plays some center next year?

I dont understand something that may be obvious.. how come he played in 2020-21, wouldn't that be in exceptional status territory ?

Maybe he became eligible to play at the moment he turned 16?

15 year old's can play in the WHL after their bantam season is over. But in special cases (COVID) or injuries, you can call up a 15 year old. Howe got a bunch of games last season and I think Dach played a handful of games when he was 15.

ES just grants the player the ability to play a full season.

covid was a special situation where basically all the 1st rounders from the previous draft played the full bubble games where they'd normally have been limited to 5 except Bedard. All of their midget years were cancelled so they had no restrictions.
