He's gonna get shoved off the puck and pushed around just like Laff and Kakko. What is he,... one year older?
Kakko definitely does not get pushed around.
He's one year older, yup.

Well I'll agree he hasn't been flat on his back as much as he had been last year. But he still can't wins battles with those along the boards. He's improving but still has a ways to go.Kakko definitely does not get pushed around.

Kravtsov will likely take Kakko’s spot on line 3, kakko to 2 and blackwell to 4
We certainly are.Kakko bullies guys on the boards; both with his quick stick and giant frame. We're watching two different players haha.
Don't you feel that Panarin and Kravtsov won't really mesh well. Even if Kravtsov had a terrific year putting the puck in the net I feel like Panarin would command the puck and Kravtsov would kinda lose a bit of his game.Or they could start with Kravtsov on Strome’s line too. Time will be needed to see what works.
i think this is an excuse, really. Multiple skilled possession guys can coexist on a line. Just look and Kane and Panarin, they're pretty much mirror images of each other and they were a great pairDon't you feel that Panarin and Kravtsov won't really mesh well. Then again who knows in the crazy season.

I think Kravtsov can read (and execute) the game at the same level as Panarin and Strome. Would it start working right away, and if not, would they get a couple of games to figure it out? On the other hand it might be a good idea to rotate Lafreniere, Kakko and Kravtsov with Chytil, similar to how PDG, Gauthier, Lemieux and Howden rotate with Rooney.
Going off of past history......Howden & LemieuxProbably the real question is how soon who'd be his linemates?
Excited to see combined Laf/Kak/Krav ice time look like a Dan Girardi playoff game total.
Can we please f*cking play these kids 17-19 nightly.

That's probably it. People just can't get over that McDonough trade very similar to.....not getting over the Tony affair. Which I am guilty of the latter NOT the former. More pissed we lost JT, more than anything. As a "throw in"....... for what? SMH.Agreed. Howden is a 4th liner, teams need those too. I personally do not get all the hate for him. Unless people can't get over that he was part of the McDonagh trade
Was a half hearted joke. Meaning our "shiny new toys" usually aren't pampered from the get go. They're placed on 4th and have to work their way up.Is this Lafreniere or Kakko history? You probably have a better memory or I must’ve blocked this out.

How about no.
The kids for the Rangers have been getting enough ice time this season. Making a federal case about a particular game where they got less time is stupid. Just glad it wasn’t Quinn or hysteria would be x10.
With the exception of Panarin those forwards averaging the most ice time—Zibanejad, Buchnevich and Strome are all killing penalties—something a lot of people seem to overlook. Even Kreider gets some of that.
Players need to earn their ice time—not have it handed to them.
Thanks for the logic drop fellas. Just wanna see mah boys burn it up.
Thanks. I mean we all do. But reading baseless statements from some posters is more akin to dealing with tantrums by a spoiled toddler who got overstimulated with too many new toys and now can’t decide what they want.
I am sure he is not starting in Hartford unless his play is so deficient. If his play warrants it, he will play. If he is a giveaway machine like Kakko was last year, then his playing time will probably be very limited if at all.Get this guy in with as little practice time as possible with Quinn. I want to see a kid just play and not one that seems terrified at the thought of making a mistake. He's not 18 or 19. This is your most developed forward who has been playing in the khl for three years now. If you want to neuter the kid then you do it in Hartford where he'll get the minutes and practices to get used to the system better. There's barely any time for practice this season in the NHL.
This is flat out false. He is emerging with the puck more often than not. Often beating two defenders on the boards. He now needs to finish his chances and if his linemates do the same, his numbers will match the quality of his play.Well I'll agree he hasn't been flat on his back as much as he had been last year. His stick is much improved, breaking up plays, but when it comes to physical battles he's at a disadvantage still.
