Sasha re-tweeted this on Tumblr today so this news kind of breaks my heart.

It's all about da business and dis business, I'm sure Breeze had a good reason to leave early, and not saying he wanted to leave early to head to a bar.

Hopefully he gets the Emma treatment and just goes back to NXT.

He...has heat for asking to leave early? It's not like he just walked out and didn't say a thing to somebody. This is beyond stupid. Also...saying Breeze doesn't "respect" the business? Dude busted his ass in development for more than half a decade. He worked hard and obviously respects the business.

Vince is also a moron. Breeze has all the tools. Literally all of them.

Yeah, there has to be more to the story. He just asked to leave early? Unless he did it in some really pompous and arrogant way or made some sort of scene about it, I can't understand why this is an issue. Sounds more like an excuse for Vince to move on from a guy he never liked.

People are taking the whole "disrespecting the business" thing way too out of context.

The point is that he essentially got a promotion to the main roster and shortly into his stay, he's asking to leave early. Do you just ask your job to leave early? Of course not. Call me crazy but, unless he had some 5 star alarm emergnecy to attend it's just not smart. There's no scenario where it could have ended well for him. Especially when the suits backstage hold grudges for centuries.

Poor Breeze. Theres going to be a few more NXT people being misused or buried while Vince is running things. He wasn't the first and won't be the last, sadly

How do we know he didn't have an emergency?

Anyways, the link you posted doesn't tell the whole story. PWInsider reported that he asked permission to leave and was granted it, but others weren't aware that he was granted permission and that was where the heat came from. So, he probably didn't ask the right people, or it wasn't communicated to Vince or whatever.

I want to offer my condolences. Working in a slave labour camp can't be easy. I don't know ANYBODY that's not free to leave a little early if there's a real reason. Just last week I left early because I had to deal with a personal issue. There may be some validity to your post if Breeze was leaving to get drinks or meet up with a girl but considering how hard and how long he worked to make it to this point... I see no reason to think Breeze didn't have a valid reason for asking permission.

Meh. Breeze sucks. He's not that good on the mic, and the tassels will never get over.

He is good in ring but he was never going to get over on the main roster with that gimmick. Never was a huge fan, but him getting heat over asking to leave is hilarious.

That gimmick is hard to get over.
That said...
There are ways...
But Creative did not even try.

It's not hard to get over. It's hard to be accepted at a champion, but that gimmick is fine. Especially with how well Breeze plays it. All it takes is the bookers and writers to expend effort on making it a real debut, but they didn't and Vince instantly pulled the plug.

But I'm not worried for Breeze. He's going to be around for a long time. He's a good worker, and very well liked by HHH. He'll be 'protected' by him, and it's not like you can't rebuild him later on. It's not the end of the world.

Vince will always be stuck in his ways, but is there really heat with him? Or is it just someone catching wind that he left early and is making up this story?

The sooner Vince is out and HHH is in the better.

Disrespecting the business is calling wrestlers 'superstars' and women 'divas'

What tools? The guy is as generic as they come with a gimmick that's been done to death (but updated with a selfie stick). I can appreciate his perseverance given how long he has been in the system but the guy was doomed to fail. The charisma is not there.

Vince seriously needs to just go away. Good lord.

Triple H must be just grinding his teeth.

So much incredible talent in NXT that Paul works to develop into legitimate main roster talent, only to have Vince **** all over it. Gotta be exasperating.

Relax.

So one guy who screams career mid-career has his push temporarily squashed. Big whoop.

Plenty of other NXT call ups look great. Rollins, Ambrose, Reigns, Owens, Sasha, Charlotte, Becky, Wyatts...

Vince isn't gonna love em all...and I think he's right about Breeze. Not much to work with.

Enough with the Vince hate. It's all gonna be fine.

I don't care much but let's not lie about what it is please. People are not stupid.

Breeze never had a push started to stop. He never had a chance to get over on the main roster. Whether Vince loves him or not is his call but don't pretend like he was actually given an opportunity here.
