Seems incredibly knee jerk. Imo he was the only reason they got anything out of that aging and poorly constructed roster the last few years.

I saw him on Friday signing at the big sportscard show and you could tell he was miserable as hell and didn't want to be there ... something is going on in his life. He only play 2 shifts in the 3rd period on Saturday too.

I like Monty and thought he was the choice to coach the Jets after Lowry was let go
Feels like knee jerk reaction he got fired
Still remember that summer all the coaches that were available
That offseason we courted Barry Trotz while all the quality coaches get hired. Cassidy goes to Vegas. PoMo goes to Florida. Monty goes to the Bruins
All that was left was an aging Bowness I was not impressed. Eating crow now seeing how Bones turn the Jets around
GM did well hiring Arniel as assistant.
