It’s hard to pinpoint but the Jets have been brutal in every single first period through 6 culminating in having fewer scoring chances than the Predators after 3 PP’s last night.

We are basically hoping for Hellebucyk to steal and a lucky bounce to get us into a game. This is not a confident team right now, they need something good to happen to get them going.

Hey Kanada -- I wish I could be a "confident" as you, but I'm willing to go up to 45% in favor of the Jets to win--and 55% for the Preds to win. I guess after getting shut out at home, with not even 1 goal has somewhat reduced my confidence, although we beat them quite badly the game before, in their building.

This game can go any way really--and nothing would surprise me. I really hope the Jet's take this next game--it would be HUGE for the Jets, and this City-- It will happen sometime, now or in the near future--"I hope it's now"

Yeah -and by the way Kanada -where is Aavco ?-did he abandon us ???

I am quite confident. Go back, split the diff and gimme a 50/50.:D
Aavco didn't abandon anything, I think he's taking a short break after dealing with the attitude of our merry band. :(

Hey 99--I think you may want to up our chances to 40% ( from 30%) Don't forget we beat them 2 times in their rink, and they beat us 2 times in our rink. The home team only won 1 game at home--for both teams.

The series is tied 3 games apiece -- and are very close, as this years points totals proved. In the regular season, they won 3 and we won 2 against them.

What does this tell you ?? --well it tells me this last and deciding game can go either way, and I don't think Home ice will make that much difference.

I would give the edge --say 60-40 to the Preds for experience, home ice, etc-- but this last game can go either way. We can still take this series !!! It's very close.

I just don’t think the odds are very favouring to get 3 away wins agaisnt the presidents trophy winner.

And I'm sorry to lose my **** here, but in the immortal words of a great sailor man, that's all I can stands; I can't stands no more.

Look, it's simple: I'd have taken this as a Good Thing at the start of the years and at the start of the playoffs and even at the start of this series.

And come Thursday I'm going to cheer for the Jets and god help me this means even if I've got exactly one person on here to do it with.

But hopefully enough of you will realize what you have and at the very least, take every last good moment you can get out of it.
Is this nonsense for real? You are the one true fan. Only those that cheer like you are worthy. go to your safe space

Ahh , you could say the same about the chances of beating the 2nd overall team in league and the team with the best home record 3 times . These teams are different but both are very good and overall very even .

I think your right Kanada --Aavco needs a break from this crazy forum. I think he was addicted to it, and is in a "recovery group". After his therapy is over--I expect him to be back in full force.:)

History doesn't matter. It's about 1 game now. One away win against that President's trophy winner. Not two, not three. Just one is needed now.

Except the first goal. He let in some stinkers in game 5 too. Team bailed him out.

It was clear early on they didn't have it. Inexcusable in a game of this magnitude. If they lose game 7, it's on them. Three chances to put your foot on their throat. Three misses. Each lose has gotten worse than the previous one.
In what f***ing world is a tip from head height down to the ice, maybe 5 feet in front of a goalie, the goalies fault.

If you think that's a stinker, you have no idea how to evaluate goaltenders and should refrain from expressing your opinion.

Well, that was a garbage result. I have no idea why the Jets can't seem to string together two good games against these guys. Oh well. Got to win one more in their barn.

I can see where your coming from--"but it's just 1 game"- a couple early good bounces could determine this series--"so keep the faith."

Who would have thought the Caps would win the series in Pitt's arena ?? -I didn't.

Just because Nashville brought their best game and forced a 7 th game does not mean the series is all of a sudden over.

The Jets now have their back against the wall just like Nashville does for the elimination game.

Home ice advantage in this series means absolutely nothing at this point and it is basically a coin toss on who wins game 7.

Lets go Jets, do this in Tennessee. Vegas is chilling and waiting.

I'm on board and with you all the way here Kanada, and will be pulling for the Jet's til the last buzzer goes off. I think we can do it--it will really take a "huge effort"- but we have the talent.

I hope Aavco's therapy is going well, and he didn't suffer to much brain damage dealing with some of the crazies on here.

We can beat them on their ice - absolutely, no problem. But it will depend completely on which Jets team shows up.
You know we are off (way off) when our PP is that bad - probably the worst I've ever seen it.
Our young team was schooled in no uncertain terms and now it's time to take a breath, hit the road, and play the game our way.

And - Ehlers and Laine need to show up - they are a big piece of this team and they are not contributing.
Have they given their very best effort? Not even close - maybe by Thursday they'll realize they are in a game 7 in the Stanley Cup playoffs

Neither team has beat the other in consecutive games all series. The Jets don't even need to do that in order to take the series. The Preds do.

I said at the beginning of the series we would need Morrow's speed and puck moving more than Chariots grit. I stand by it.
_______________________________________________________

I like Morrow myself Surixon -- probably in my mind they are of similar value. I really don't think it will be "grit"--that determines the winner of the next game-- but moreso talent. I could go along with inserting Morrow in to replace Chiarot, or maybe even Enstrom. He has a better point shot than Toby.

Tough loss last night. The 1st goal is huge in this series. The Preds get it on a lucky play and it changes the tone of the game. Once they got the 2-0 lead they did a good job in clogging up the lanes and limiting possession and chances. Full marks to the Preds, they deserved the win.

The Jets, while maybe not playing bad (they are playing against a good team) didn't do themselves any favors and certainly didn't do enough to win. Going 0 for 4 on the PP isn't good, but even worse was the way they did it. Next to 0 zone time with puck control, very disjointed and uncoordinated zone entries, and 2 PP's where they didn't even get a shot. That needs to change.

Seeing Morrissey and Trouba get less minutes than Chariot and Myers is beyond tiresome at this point. The numbers and results between the two pairs isn't even close, and the fact that Chariot and Myers is out there more seems like a huge black mark on this coaching staff.

That being said, I still have hope for Thursday night. It's a one game winner take all, and we've had success in their building. Hopefully everyone brings their A games on Thursday.

Go Jets Go!

Where this game is going to mean jack squat. Nashville will still feel the pressure, they're supposed to win.
