Born and raised in Westchester county, moved to the west coast for undergrad (Pasadena), moved back to NY for a couple years, and now I'm back in Sherman Oaks since February. LA is my second home, but NY will always be where my heart is. That being said, I love being back.

Westchester born and raised here as well! Yonkers for awhile, then Irvington (Where most of my family still lives.) Moved out to Las Vegas for school (UNLV, stop laughing) and decided to stay after scoring a pretty great gig. I always toyed with the idea of a move to California, but it would be San Diego for me.

San Francisco & Bay area fans: Watch the game with fellow fans

If you're a loyal blue shirt faithful and are looking for a place to watch and cheer on the New York Rangers we have a large and growing fan base at Aces bar in San Francisco. We're a New York oriented sports bar located in Lower nob hill with an increasing crowd every game.

Come down tomorrow for game one.
998 Sutter (cross with Hyde).

...and I pulled the trigger. $332 roundtrip out of Regan National on Tuesday at 10pm. Will arrive in LAX at 9am on Wednesday via a 7 hour layover in St. Paul.
WAy back is on Thursday at 5:30pm and will arrive in DC 11am the next day again via a 7 hour layover in St. Paul.
...literally do not care about the long flight times. Got my phone, laptop, I'm happy.

Ticket-wise, I snagged a ticket for $949, but might part with it cuz a few people I know in LA might have a one to "spare."

Let's Go Rangers!!!

Edit: game 7 contingency plan

Have a safe flight...looks like you are heading out in less than 24 hrs...Get hyped

Wish I still lived in LA. I would totally be there. It was always so easy to get Kings tickets so I used to take in a lot of games. I once met up with Shadowtron when the Rangers were in town to play the Kings.

I love SD, much more than LA :yo:. But anyways, looking forward to seeing some of you guys at the games! I'm holding out for games 5 and 7.

Well that sure is interesting. He made it out to be some long existing group but the fb group was just created. Want to meet up for a beer before testing waters there?

I will keep in touch, but probably I'd be more down for the later games. Game 3 onwards. If I miss class I might as well make it for a "better" game.

Anyone else thinking of going to Bryant park?

Could be a bit warm to wear a jersey.

I'm going to try and get back out for game 5. I'll be on vacation from work and well, what the hell? We only live once and as Ranger fans,we know this story. It could be another 20 before we get back to the cup!

Hope to meet up with some of you guys one way or another. If not this time, next season when I'm in NY we def. need to link up for some adult beverages.

I'll be there, probably wearing my work clothes with a rangers hat. Hoping for no or little rain.

Btw does anyone know if they'll serve beer at the Bryant park event?

Is that Aces? Or a new bar at that location? If it's Aces, I've been there a number of times.

Edit: I just saw your username. Duh.

Haven't heard anything on the beer front, weather on my phone says its set to be a warm cloudy day.

haha, just saw this. I'm considering it, I have a summer class that night. I'll see if I skip

I'm pretty sure we exchanged emails last year or the year before vs Caps.
I'm out of town until next week but would definitely be down to do something next Mon or Wed for Games 3,4.

I'm in Arlington so your location would work.

Awesome. Yeah I'm on the red line, so Clarendon station is like a ~30 minute metro ride.
