Is that what it is? I'm genuinely trying to understand how I'm getting f***ed like I have been.

Every time I get the ball, slow passing, players running in quicksand, opponent steals it off me in seconds.
Every time they get the ball, they fly past me like I'm using a team of bronze trash.

I'm raging so f***ing hard. I think I threatened to kill someones pet goat at one point.

My team isn't even awful either. Nothing special, but I shouldn't be getting my cheeks clapped.

It a notorious problem. Some people just get f***ed extra hard by it. I’m one of those guys. The last 1.5 years I can barely play NHL I have such connection/input issues. Only with NHL. It’s like I’m on 150 ping and packet loss, while it’s a clean 20.

Yeah, that's exactly why I stopped buying NHL. Online was unplayable.

I didn't realize it was the same on FIFA. I just assumed it was my team or because I was new to the game, but now that my team should no longer be as big of an issue I guess this must be at least part of it.

That's so shitty...

I assume everyone runs 33/33 chem also. Looks like you're at 26/33.

Yeah, the LM and RM are temporary.

But it's the two STs that are confusing me the most with their lack of speed... and both are 3/3 chem and max pace.

Unimportant side note: if Napoli advances to the next round of the Champions league, that Raspadori card gets leveled up to 90 or 91 overall and I think all his stats increase, which would be nice.

I hate soccer. I really do.
“But you have to see it in person to get it”. “You have to have played it to get it”.
Played two years and went to three union games.
Soccer f***ing blows.
I generally don’t care for wholesome shows or movies and this show has wholesomeness oozing from every orifice.
All that considered, this wholesome show about soccer is f***ing amazing.

I can’t understand how anyone can dislike soccer but I also can’t understand why soccer fans constantly try to convince those people to like it. If you don’t like it, you don’t like it. Being badgered isn’t going to change anyone’s mind.

Personally, I’ve always loved it. Played it from I learned to walk until health issues made me stop. It’s obviously why my online username has always been “Striker” since I made my first account back in 2006. I just never really followed it because I had no access to games on TV, so I never formed any attachment to any team like I did the Flyers/Eagles/Sixers/Phillies. One good thing about the Flyers dying is I made an effort to start watching soccer and I’m so glad I did.

It’s boring. Far too slow. Has a pretend time clock. The game doesn’t end when the time runs out, the refs have a magic ability to add an arbitrary amount of time at their will. Nothing should ever end in a tie.
Then there’s the rampant pitiful overly dramatic diving.

The diving is the one thing I can’t stand. Drives me insane.

100% agreed.

The one thing I do like is the way soccer does relegation. (And I have no idea if it's universal, just going off some conversations with my German friends).

32 NHL teams is way too many. Split it into two tiers. Each year, bottom two from A tier get relegated down, and top two from B tier get to play with the big boys.

Relegation is a great concept, until it's your team that gets relegated, and then stuck in the 2nd division for half a decade slowly becoming irrelevant even in danger of going into the 3rd division.
Following football can be much more painful than following hockey. Finishing last in the NHL - you get a shiny new toy. Finishing last in football - you get only pain.
