I’ve heard only good things about this game! I’m going to give the 2 hour trial a shot to see if it’s something I’d be interested in. Gotta get familiar with D&D first though lol. That’ll help I’m thinking
If/when you start playing, just remember it's based on a tabletop game, and the developers did a fantastic job of bringing that to the screen. You're gonna have a lot of wiggle room in how you approach pretty much everything, from dialogue to combat.

Just as a couple of examples, I was having difficulty in one fight against a tough enemy with several smaller enemies around her, so I had to start actually thinking instead of just tying to slug it out. The fight takes place right next to a small bridge over a bottomless pit. You can actually destroy the bridge, so I tried to park my wizard next to the bridge and kite the tough enemy over onto it so I could destroy it and drop her into the pit. Great idea, but one of the smaller enemies walked over and pushed my wizard into the pit.

So I re-load, and spend some time pushing the smaller enemies into the pit (the were patrolling the area back and forth over the bridge, and if none of the other enemies could see what I was doing so they didn't attack) to cut down on their numbers before I attacked. Made the encounter MUCH easier.

In another fight, I stupidly parked my party around an exploding barrel, which the bad guys promptly exploded, catching all my guys on fire. No problem, I have a cleric who can conjure water and douse my party. What I didn't think about was the spell my wizard had cast which connected him to an enemy with a bolt of lightning, and was now interacting with the water and shocking my whole party.

Great stuff. I really don't know of another game that translates a tabletop experience so seamlessly.

Is anyone playing Spiderman 2 on PS5? The story and cinematic elements of this game are utterly jaw-dropping. Better action sequences than anything we have ever seen on the big screen for Spiderman. The gameplay is similar to the previous 2 games but the main difference is that the crazier moments are stacked closer together and the fights are tougher. Have to pause to catch my breath sometimes. Amazing game.

The sound in this game was as mind-blowing as the graphics it could pull even on lower or mid level systems
Yeah, the sound design and the attention to detail was really impressive. I was surprised too how well it ran on my PC which was mid level at best.

I struggled with the controls in this one until maybe halfway through the game. I really miss some of the old gadgets, particularly the web mine. I rarely found the flow I did with the previous games, in live combat AND stealth. Having to level two different characters with the same Skill Point pool didn't help matters. The story and graphics were fantastic as expected. The side missions had some surprisingly touching moments and that Music Museum was a cool little bonus to visit.

Just started Sekiro this past weekend after it popped up on a Steam sale. Very fun, Lady Butterfly is dead. But between this and Nioh 2, I have now worn the rubber coating off my Xbox 360 controller sticks from 2011. Anyone have recomendations for best Xbox style controller for PC? I would be fine shelling out the money for the Elite controller but I'm worried about the huge number of quality complaints.

Oooh Sekiro! That’s in my backlog.

How does Nioh 2 compared to the 1st game? I bought the complete Nioh collection months ago and I’ve been playing Nioh for a bit now. I’ve heard Nioh is significantly harder/more challenging than Nioh 2.

The Treetop Trouble Run and Gun level in Cuphead is just mean lol. The bosses in this first Wolrd are significantly easier than that level. That’s kind of….backwards and strange IMO.

@Captain Dave Poulin Absurdly huge PoE league announced today, but the one thing I want you to see is this new alternate version of Raise Zombie. I am 100% going to dump a billion currency into cleaving worlds in two with this.

See you in a month. Cause I know you're gonna be spending a lot of time on this.
Totally was gonna post this yesterday but I forgot.

Plus the redesigned editions with ps4 graphics.

With gta 6 going to be in Miami like vice city was.
