OT: Video Game Thread Part VIII

Ranked is such a shitshow right now. John Donaldson every game. You know the guy is a glitch when every Random Joe has a sub-3 ERA with the guy. I swear between the natural input delay and HOF pitch speeds, someone could throw me the forkball every pitch and I probably wouldn't hit a ball fair.

I’m getting better at the forkball, with the occasional bad swing in 2 strike counts. I like to throw fastballs at the knees with 2 strikes because it freezes guys expecting the fork.

His slider on the hands to righties still messes with me. It’s so hard, you can’t recognize it late. Is it a 96 sinker dotted or a 96 slider eating you up? He’s a cheat.

All the BP in the world offline doesn't simulate online. I'm undefeated this season in ranked btw. It's just annoying and not fun.

Yeah the low fastball is pretty much a free strike if you set up/get set up. He's got so many ways to beat you. It's mostly the forkball though. If he doesn't have that pitch you can sit on the heat more. That thing looks just like his fastball until it's too late.

I can get to him in All-star (Events) but HOF? It's torture with the pitch speeds and shit ping. Meanwhile I just got my Donaldson P5 today. :giggle:

I made my money back on Soto so I'll probably just stick the Coop and Events until they figure out the glitch (not looking great!). Let's see what all of the fuss is about with the new program. Daddy needs Adley.

I stopped playing Video games regularly around the time this was first released (life, got interested in other shit, etc). Currently working on my 1st play-through. The haunting atmosphere (the voices you hear, the dim lighting, the broken and beaten down buildings/rooms, etc. is awesome. Not many games today can pull this off so well. If there’s one thing I could change, it’d be the shotgun reload time. The reload is way too slow to make it worthwhile to even pick up and use lol.

Doing a rerun of Project Diablo 2 on hardcore and I forgot how good that mod is. If anyone is a Diablo fan you really should give that game a try. It flips a lot of the builds/items on their heads and makes a lot more classes/play styles viable.

There's a good bit more end game content as well with Diablo clone, Rathma, mapping, Uber Ancients.

Just like how I bitched last weekend, this FIFA shit is fixed.

Started off 8-4, then my goalie repeatedly moved out of the way to allow goals and my AI players kept giving them penalty kicks. Literally nothing anyone can do about that kind of shit.

Ended 10-10 for the 4th straight weekend.
