OT: Video Game Thread Part VII

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Yup, Niflheim is a giant pain in the ass grind. Just need to keep doing counterclockwise loops around the arena a couple dozen times or so to get the mist. Fallen Ash armor is a grind too, but I think I got lucky with gold on the final time trial. I had a blast playing that game.

Niflheim makes me want to throw something through my TV. I hate those goddamn Revenants so much and they're EVERYWHERE to screw me out of all that mist.

Im just so bored of everything right now. F1, COD, any sports game, I'm just sick of it. I hate playing Fortnite by myself. I need to find a new game.

I felt the same. Got so burnt out on CSGO, CoD/Warzone, and everything else... That’s how I ended up back on Old School Runescape. I hadn’t played it for over a decade so it feels pretty new again.

They're sold out (at least in my area). I can say from my experience if you get stuck in the verify my account loop it's already too late.

Either it works the first time and you're in or you're not. That may not be everyones experience but it has been mine.
 
The search still displays a lot in stock, or at least ones that say "see details." Last time they dropped for about two hours and I kept trying. Is there any actual stock, I have no idea.

This has been my experience too.

I got in before they even hit the Discords and was still shut out. 6 different cards went through the queue almost immediately, but had no stock in my area. The rest were sold out after verification loops.
 
Well that is slightly disheartening. I always hoped it meant I was still somewhere in the line every time I had to verify. Oh well.

I’ve only played the first one part of the way, didn’t care for the QuickTime battles.
Isn’t kratos super white, due to dousing his body in his family’s ashes or something?
Btw, how do the ashes stay on, I swear there was a water “level” at one point.
