Not quite true, Sakic became the cover athlete on NHL 2004 and replaced Heatley after his car accident. Both covers were in circulation

I haven't bought an EA NHL game in a loooong time. I've just waited for game pass or used Game Fly to get it. But I'm definitely going to buy it this year. Great looking cover shot too.

Yeah, that stretch was so good for GM mode. I ran through way too many seasons playing all the games (not simming). Never been anywhere near back to that. Although, I was also a teenager, so it's not like I was doing anything much.

Good! It is a fantastic controller (best I've ever used when it is working), you'll love it until it breaks and then you'll go through the warranty process... where you'll get another and fall in love all over again and wonder how you ever played with a regular controller.

Damn this year in games is just *chef’s kiss* and Makar is on the cover. If only it was on PC so I could actually play.

Baldur’s Gate III is my GotY so far. I’m in act 3 (I took 3 days off of work lmao). I love everything about it from the vast dialogue options, combat, exploration, music, visuals and the game has a surprise around every corner. The only thing that could possibly dethrone it is Starfield which I’m looking forward to as well.

I don't know if this episode scarred me for the future when I first saw it, but I can't get into things like WoW, LoL, and Baldur Gate. I totally get it that they are essentially different types of games, but same sort of fantasy style that never really finishes. Destiny is the same sort of way and why I also dropped it, I call them lifestyle games.
