Mantha should be a very solid addition for Vegas. I wouldn’t sign him to a long term deal but on an expiring contract looking for his next contract he is solid.
Are you foreskin kidding me??Vegas circumsizing the cap
Even at JFresh's model is around 95% WAR this season.Compare this nonsense to actual scouting reports and he falls somewhere in between:

Also the Microstats are a better thing to look at for JFresh from the summaries:

Considering Vrana is no longer in the NHL or in the Red Wings organization, I would say it’s not so bad.
No chance. We don't need cap space and Mantha has played well. This strikes me as a cap dump for Washington where they maybe get back a middling prospect like Cormier.
What's the word on him? Would he consider coming back over with a new team?
No doubt, but how about at hockey? That’s what people also said about the player they took at the draft, Vegas will find a way to turn him into a shooter that can go under par

Mantha is gonna turn into a point per game star on Vegas.
Dude probably had 2 mil left prorated on a team he's not coming back to. If they get more than a meh prospect out of it I'll be shocked.A cap dump for a player on an expiring contract with a team that has no salary cap issues. You win the worst thought of the day
Figured a Caps fan would try to defend the original Mantha deal. Forgetting Vrana, the Caps gave up the 2021 1st that became Wyatt Johnston so I feel very confident they won't be getting back something as valuable as WJ for Mantha now.
