Give credit to Vegas

But what the f*** is Mike Grier doing oh my word

Yeah, Grier is wildly in over his head with that return. Giving up two 3rds and retaining for that long? Sure it's a good prospect and a 1st but still, if that's the best you're getting, what's the hurry

Fantastic move for San Jose honestly...retaining for that long is rough, but this gives them some real quality assets and more cap flexibility.

This trade doesnt move the needle one bit. Unless Edstrom is an amazing prospect?

That team is gojng the way failed rebuilds do, with no good player on the roster and a bunch of projects haphazardly patched on. Without any decent vets, losing culture sets in and good luck coming out of that hell hole.

Like I said, I dont think it moves the needle, whether the kept Hertk or not, so good on them for allowing him to finisb his career on a brighter spot

Vegas fans can always know, win or lose, their team went all in on every possibility and did every thing they could

What is their cap when Stone and Martinez come back in Game 1? Like $100m? What a f***ed up league this is to allow this craziness. I don't even blame Vegas, this is all on the NHL.
What's the problem? Nothing Vegas has done is outside of the rules.
The owners do not care about the cap creating parity. They only care about cost control.

For the fans that don't understand this, it's on them. No reason to get worked up about it.

Vegas well on their way to another asterisk cup! :sarcasm:

Wish my team would do the same.

Embarrassing for the Sharks to retain so much for so long and only get a 1st and an OK prospect back (who Scott Wheeler projects as a 3rd line C in the NHL).

Not really, they’re defending Cup champs and have exponentially improved their roster this week
So has many other teams. They're DoA if they're getting the Adin Hill of late instead of the one from the playoffs last year. Not saying it's not possible, but they're still in a group of 5 or 6 teams contenders that have just as good a shot.
