Sure, he's 26, and the only reason he isn't playing in the NHL, is because he's been playing with poor players for a few games this year. Did you ignore that he was drafted in 2016, and isn't a NHL player, and doesn't have a NHL contract... for a reason? Somehow the whole world is wrong about Alex Nylander.

Don't you think if any of the other 31 teams thought he might help them, they'd offer him a NHL contract... .. I mean, he can sign one at anytime...

Maybe if he was actually good enough, he'd be carrying his linemates.. who one of mysteriously has more points than him.

He's just not good. Maybe watch some Marlies games...
Do you think he didn’t get any nhl offers? Are you suggesting he’s a liar? I can agree with some of your points but I’d find you real strange if you think he didn’t get any offers and we shouldn’t take his word

3/4 of the core is still up and active.
That's good - it's certainly not bad.

Blue line will step up tonight.

I would suggest if he received any "NHL" offers, they were two way contracts, where the AHL money, was less than what the Marlies offered him. If he received a legitimate one way contract, from a NHL team, at league minimum... and turned it down, for a AHL contract... well, that isn't very bright is it? Chances are, he took the most guaranteed money.

I think I'll wait to see how these subs and call-ups play before I pass judgment on them.

I am very much looking forward to seeing what the third and fourth lines might do.

Or like they both stated they saw him playing in the best organization with a line to make the leafs team a better route hes got a better shot that most of our roster and he’s better then some of our top 12 already they’ll never be two way beats but we do have trouble scoring

Holmberg has been such a disappointment. People near him have to say FFS whatever your mental issue is, this is your shot, play like your life depends on it because it f***ing does.
I actually thought he could be a Kampf replacement on the fourth, but he’s been so disappointing.

I'm looking forward to watching minty fresh and greb get a shot. I didn't think it would be this fast though so I hope they hang in there until the team is healthier.

Otherwise just play the system and Stolarz has been great so hopefully he can keep that up.

The injury bug has hit us but better now than later. Good teams find a way and so far they have.

Go Leafs Go

Isn't Woll starting tonight?

Only problem with these kids playing if they out play Robertsson or out produce him
It will be hard to justify to keep Robby up when the regulars return

That's a great point. We shouldn't score less than usual given that 3/4 of our best forwards are playing and the missing players were part of a bottom 6 that has been contributing virtually nothing. What production will we miss from Domi and Kampf?

Why is that a problem? The team needs the players than can have an impact. If Robertson is not that guy, and we have other options, let's move on. Best for the team and the player.

Did you ignore who he’s playing with ?lol
I'm sorry, but Shaw is a top end AHLer. Abruzzese may not be but he is still a good AHL level player. If Nylander was as good as you say, how come he hasn't made it yet in the NHL? Why didn't his short success last year translate into 2024/2025?

It is because he isn't good.

And also, if he was any good, the linemates wouldn't matter. He'd make them better. It is okay to admit Nylander isn't good enough for the NHL

It's the NHL. He needs to produce or he is going to be in Europe in 2 years.

Esp after he made such a stink and then plays like shit all year.
