GDT: Vegas vs Leafs Wednesday 7:30 || The IR edition

It is basically an open try out because it seems like the injuries are not short term in many cases.
Really up to them to make the most of it.

I actually watched most (okay, some ... okay, about the last 2 minutes) of the game.
First CFL game I've watched (at all, including highlights) in at least a decade or three.

I was shocked during the (last 2 minutes of the) telecast to find out the Argos also won it in 2022. I'd feel ashamed not knowing that as a Torontonian but I'd bet there are 3 million others that live here that didn't know it either.

Welp. Chalk me up as having no clue too. I’m a huge football fan but NFL. Never got into CfL unfortunately.

Why do we do the CFL and not just bring NFL to a few markets up here?

I'm not sure there are deep enough pockets here, corporate or individual, to buy an NFL expansion team. I think it could have been done 20 or 30 years ago, but that ship has probably sailed at this point.

Call me crazy, but that 3rd line looks interesting. Holmberg on the 2nd line will tell us a lot about Holmberg, perhaps.

He looked excellent with anybody he played with. I have a strong belief that this kid cements himself into this lineup

I wish I could be as optimistic as some of you, but I think we're in for a long night. Holmberg at #2 centre is scary. Hope I'm wrong.
