Exactly. All coaches' contracts state other teams must get permission to talk to them if fired/relieved of duties. Vegas is just the first one in a long time to not grant permission.

I doubt that is possible. You can't state that someone under contract has to look for another job. A contract like that is unenforcible, and the union wouldn't approve it. Do you have an actual cite on one of these contracts?
 
I somehow love how unconditionally ruthless the Vegas-organization is.

Their only goal is to win and they use all means within the rulebook to do so.
Honor and respect is nothing that sin city cares one bit about.
 
The Vegas brass is so desperate to keep the attention on them despite getting the crap kicked out of them in the finals.
Or they're doing what competitive teams do.

Why aren't people loving this? It shows they're in it to win it. Wouldn't ot be nice to know every team is this dedicated to winning?
