Proposal: Varlamov for Koskinen +

Not a fan of either team but this seems logical. NYI save 5.5M next year and get an asset (maybe a 3rd?) to take on Koskinen for the rest of the year.

Oilers get a starting goalie for this year + next at a rather cheap price. Win-win for both teams

I could see it being a 1st rounder because the Oilers really need the goalie coming back. Isles have no reason to do this deal and therefore have all the leverage. Koskinen and a 1st for Varlamov makes more sense to me.

I'm an Oil and Czech fan and love the idea!

One because Varlamov is exactly what we need.
two, because Skarek is doing well and could be an excellent 1B next season for around a mil.

I don't think any of this happens though but I like the proposal!
