Has he really had a chance to practice and understand Boudreau's system? And he's paired next to Hunt usually with forwards lines of Richardson / Petan.

Well, that's definitely the downside of Dermott I've seen for a lot of seasons. On the whole though I think he will be good for the team. They need another puck mover. Imagine Quinn, Dermott, and Rathbone being the PMD on each pair.

Oh I’m not complaining overall. I’ve liked his game. Just Leafs fans said he’s prone to these kind of plays, and it was the first one I’ve seen.
