thin in defense but not thin everywhere, especially our forward group with Pius Suter and blueger added as 3rd and 4th line center while still having Aman as 4th line and Raty who could become a regular in a year or 2 on top of Miller and Pettersson as the top 2 centers. Then we have plethora of wingers in Boeser, Garland, Kuzmenko, Mikheyeve, Beauvillier, Podkolzin, Hoglander, Pearson etc. etc. Some good young players in Joshua, Hirose, DiGisseupe etc.with Myers gone, they need a skilled crease clearer. Pesce/Parayko should be the guys they target, then again, the team is thin everywhere if you factor in injuries. If they cannot afford to miss playoffs this year to resign EP long term, they should consider moving it to further supplement this core, then again if they are forced to move the 1st (they are losing ground), the later it is, the more valuable it becomes.
Then our goalies are Demko who is a true number 1, Silovs one of the best goalie prospects and another decent backup in Martin.
We are thin on D, doesnt mean we are thin everywhere. Fix that D and PK and the canucks would make the playoffs just like that.
