While its good news we finally get a good coach, but why wouldn't they also fire Benning? This is a gong show.

Canucks about to score some goals, trick everyone into believing they are good, play zero defense if they did at all and exit in the first round whenever they make it but they will score some goals

Boudreau is a great choice. He'll get a lot of Pettersson, Hughes, Boeser, OEL and Miller.

Benning still having a job is hilarious though.

Edit: Benning out too? Day of celebration for Nucks fans.

Congrats Vancouver fans.

Boudreau is going to get a lot out of that team. Any offensive player slumping right now is going to explode.

Very curious who comes in as GM.

Friedman reported it first, but you tweeted it better, Pagnotta. Take my money!

Boudreau is a solid coach, his offensive game will suit Vancouver well.
I guess Benning will get the axe too, glad for Canucks fans this nightmare seems to come to an end..

I am stunned they are actually giving Benning another coaching change. Absolutely wild.
He's next
The Aquilinis are giving him an extra life in the same way an owner shells out $4,000 for a surgery for on a 12 year old dog - irrational loyalty (because Benning did exactly what they demanded for years)

Yeah I think the Canucks will happily take a couple winning seasons and 1st/2nd round exits at this point.

Boudreau doesn't have to be the end game. One thing we do know is that he can kickstart a talented offensive team, which is what the Canucks desperately need. They're in a funk. Whether Boudreau can then get them over the hump remains to be seen. Capitals fans may preach doom and gloom when it comes to Boudreau but it's all about the journey and he was part of the journey that led to Trotz and the Stanley Cup.

Canucks need to hire a President, to find a replacement GM, who can hire the new coach.

What do the Canucks do?

Replace the coach.

Prolly gonna replace the GM next.

I think Boudreau is a good hire for them. He will get some use out of their offensive weapons and make them more competitive to make the playoffs.

Fact that Benning is still there, makes me think hes a figure head GM anyway. Its probably the owners making the key decisions. If they hire another GM, the GM might not listen to them.
