Maybe Stoll to IR?

If a roster spot is needed that is the easiest thing to do. Since it can be retro to the last day he played and able to come off at any time then.
This is another one of those things that capgeek is so missed for. Could just look at the roster at a glance and know how many are on it.

It's probably gonna be McNabb sitting, unfortunately. Doesn't seem to me like Sutter would sit Greene in favor of a young kid like him.

edit: though if Stoll continues being out I could see them sitting Andy and going 11F 7D like some have said. But that's a short term thing, considering how important a functional fourth line in the playoffs is to Sutter.

You're probably right, but I'm gonna guess it's Regher who sits.

Only way RR sits is if he is banged up and we are playing edmonton.
Game is too big and regher is too important.
Edit: Plus Sutter loves RR

I think Greene sits over Regehr or McNabb. Breaking up the McNabb Sekera pairing would be silly, it's been our best lately. Greene has been scratched before, Sutter would absolutely sit him.

Regardless, though, we are better off no matter what happens. Alec brings an element the team has been missing.

I would hope it's EITHER Regehr or Greene, and for chemistry reasons and advanced stats, i'd say regehr. Roll Doughty-Muzzin, McNabb-Sekera, Martinez-Greene. Greene's had brain farts, but as much as I love Regehr's physical game and as good as he was playing earlier, Regehr is an absolute anchor around whoever he's been playing with...the ice is tilted backwards with him out there and he made Sekera look awful. Though Marty is serviceable with him that puts Sekera with Greene and we don't know how that looks yet. McNabb has played good enough to stay in the lineup imo and exhibits growing chemistry with Sekera.

Personally, We know Doughty, Muzzin, Sekera aren't sitting. Pick three from Martinez, McNabb, Regehr, and Greene, and to me one of those last two has to sit. McNabb brings the physical play, he just has to learn how to be mean in the slot and PK like Mitchell. Regehr has been playing too much anyway and thru injuries and illness, resting him isn't the worst idea period.

Edit: annnnd I totally forgot about the PP Whisperer, McBain. Wonder what he's up to

who gets greene's "A" now that richards is no longer with the team?
My vote would be for RR or Carter.
Regher wore it in Calgary.
I wouldn't say Drew cause he can let his emotions get the better of him.

The Kings have had a strong PK as of late, right? Gotta think Regehr is a big part of that. I don't see Sutter sitting him. And Greene is the only righty we have outside of Doughty. Tough decision for sure.

Saw an intersting idea on Rosen's blog: Sekera-Doughty (god I want to see this at least once), Muzzin-Regehr (eew), Martinez-Greene. Wonder how Muzzin-McNabb would look, but I definitely want to see Sekera Doughty tried out beyond the PP!

Very good point. It's a very tough decision.

Not even an early start can ruin the domination of the Canucks, right? Right?!?! Got to have this one, and in regulation.

It actually wouldn't surprise me if Martinez sat Saturday out and then got inserted into the lineup on the road trip.

Course playing him wouldn't surprise me either really.
