Those dope-smokin' tulip pickers! And everyone knows that they can play field hockey but not ice hockey.
Please don't be hateful :~(

Give us that 1st rounder ++Well...not guaranteed. Sometimes both teams will just agree to basically forget about it and not send anything the other way. Sometimes it'll result in a late pick or an AHL/depth player.
At best, I could see the Canucks get a favorable end of a pick-swap.oh we might get someting out of this?
Not really surprising but... (probably a late pick, not even necessarily for the 2025 draft)

If that was the case, wouldn't the trade be for a conditional pick and not Future Considerations?
I don't remember Future Considerations ever turning into anything tangible down the line.
Pretty much a nothing move. If they didn't see a long term fit, no reason to have him on the roster with Joshua coming back, and Lekkerimaki knocking on the door. He'd be eating up cap space sitting in the press box. Better to get a potential pick back and send him to a place he's comfortable than lose him on waivers for nothing.
Sprong hurt this dude.I honestly think I started this account years ago to warn Ducks fans about this guy
Stunned that no one has caught on yet
He's a beyond unbearable teammate. Horrible person to around
Stunned that any team even signs him in the first place. Shows how much hockey is run by dinosaurs and people who don't understand you need to build a cohesive locker room
Not even worth attempting to recoup an asset on him. Just an all around waste of talent
bro really gave us something to marvel about and dipped.
forever a Canucks legend
GM: Give this guy a chance. He was never going to be a long term fit. He brought a specific skillset and is a streaky scorer in the first place. In terms of getting the most out of Sprong I think we cut bait too quickly, but this player type was a questionable acquisition in the first place.
Low risk. No reward. Time to move on.
Who comes out when Joshua is back? Not a fan of this but Tocchet clearly didn’t trust him
Yep never thought it was gonna work out.I wonder if people closely watch the games. Sprong's drop pass to nobody in the third period when you're defending a lead was a major Tocchet yikes, especially a dozen games into the season.
gotta turn those 4ths into 3rds, Allvin is magical with third rounders. At best, I could see the Canucks get a favorable end of a pick-swap.
Gonna do my bit for the 10 page thread. Is what it is. Wasn’t fitting in so move on. I’m sure this will end up being a 10 page thread though. lol.
I don't know if Doug Houda thunk it or not. (Ba-dum-cha)Gonna do my bit for the 10 page thread.
Expendable guy turns out to be expendable. Houda thunk it?
I agree so far wasn’t entirely useless, but will be in the playoffs.I didn’t think he was bad on the 4th line, he brought speed and would rush the puck with such finesse - was kind of refreshing.
In the playoffs, I can see his style being useless, on the 4th line so no big deal.
Prob did the player a solid as it didn’t work out with him in the top 6
