I've been wondering if there was a deal that could send Tkachuk to the Canucks that would work for both teams.
Something around Miller + Myers +? For Tkachuk and Zub

Thoughts? Something plausible, or could never happen?

If by some fluke though, Tkachuk wanted out . . . Vancouver better be willing to offer Peterson or that negotiation isn't going anywhere.

It’s hard to think of a Tkachuk to Van trade that is even conceivable… butI suspect it would need to start with Garland or Horvat and Hoglander with a significant plus of similar or arguably greater value than the other two pieces n addition.

Tkachuk + Zub would only be dealt for EP, which obviously isn’t happening.

I would offer something like one of Garland or Miller AND Rathbone AND a little something else.

I would also consider Hughes straight up because I think Hughes for Tkachuk is a pretty close to fair value swap. And I’m pretty sure that Rathbone can replace like 80% of the offense that Hughes gives us.

Dont think the Sens would consider either offer. OFD is probably the least of our needs. I could see why people/teams would take Hughes over Brady in a vacuum but it's just not a good fit for us.
