Why would this guy waive
If he doesn't, the Canucks bench him for the next 1.5 years and he won't get another high value NHL contract. If he gets 20 mins a night with the Flames he probably gets another good one.
Why would this guy waive
He would be 2nd in points for Winnipeg lolWorst possible option… he’s a faceoff man… that’s it…
If they want to improve, then they won’t be looking at MonahanGood for Montreal. Canucks add big name. As Monahan next biggest name left. Many teams in west will want to improve.
For playing time and a fresh start? Why would this guy waive
Agreed. Scared to hit a home run, also scared to strike out. They just try for contact and say oh we were closeIt's refreshing in this age of ultra-conservative GM's afraid of their own shadow.
There were other options than Hronek that may have not cost a 1st. Like Durzi, for example. At the time our first was looking like a top 7 pick. Vs trading a mid 1st.
Chicagoget a third team involved perhaps?
to get a top pairing DmanSo why did they trade Horvat then, just to acquire another center?
Aside from the Swedish GM getting a Swedish player angle.
That’s Chevys mottoAgreed. Scared to hit a home run, also scared to strike out. They just try for contact and say oh we were close
Durzi. Lol.There were other options than Hronek that may not cost a 1st. Like Durzi for example.
They confirmed they are but from what I understand they are asking him to waive anywayIsn’t Flames on Kuzmenko’s no-trade list?
Think you’d get a mid round pick and be happy to move his cap.I wonder if CHI is on his no trade list because if not Allvin will just give the picks from CHI to CGY instead.
I dont think so...Is Kuzmenko + a 1st enough?
Isn’t Flames on Kuzmenko’s no-trade list?
Which is why there will be a good prospect coming back to take him.One thing not mentioned is the Canucks are saving 5.5 million next season as well, thats a ton of cap
