Yeah. That I’m fine with. Lindholm isn’t playing well to get a killer prospect
If the prospect is Willander or Lekkerimaki with a 1st and Kuzmenko we win the trade. If it's Brustewicz or a player like Hoglander it's a solid deal for both sides. If it's a lower end prospect we lose.

I'm also in the camp I'd rather give up Hunter than Pods.

Pods is going to be a very good top 9 forward. I don't see Hunters game translating.

This also gives a month for the Canucks to cook even more before the deadline🫡

I hope Lindholm gets back to being a PPG guy and Selke talk again. But 70% of fans will still have no idea because they'll rarely catch a game.

I would prefer to trade him then PodK but I may be in the minority of Canuck fans
Nah I'm with you. The Canucks have taken the care to develop Pod and being him along. He's so close to being a good cost controlled addition to the team when they start experiencing the cap squeeze that it would be a total shame to end up trading him.

Brew is a fantastic prospect but the Canucks can afford to trade him.

Just a question for Vancouver fans, is this a sign they're going all in with the murky situation of Petterson's RFA or a sign that they're trying to show him that they're able to compete with him on the roster or a bit of both?

One thing to note

Imagine the defensive abilities of a Huberdeau-Sharangovich-Kuzmenko line

ELITE

The castaway line

what is the canucks biggest weakness now?

They now have the flexibility to load miller and pettersson up and have an elite 2C in lindholm to still anchor the line or they could move lindholm to the wing and have miller-pettersson down the middle
They have 1C 1G 1D and 1W set. That third line is red hot as of the past 15 games or so

I'm not sure how Ian Cole has done as a #4 but maybe he could be a "weak" point of the team. Maybe an upgrade on Suter as the 2 LW?
