He’s starting to do well the AHL (25 pts in 33 games) considering the freak accident injury of course (which he came back after a week). Never liked the pick but has some great tools and is likely an NHL player on a bad team.

Brustewicz is a player I like. A lot. Offense won't translate, but I think he could be a Tanev type. He reads the play really well and has no quit in him. Also has a Tanev like muffin of a shot.

Shooting 27.3%. Would be disappointed if he’s the main return. He’s not bad but Calgary is kind of doing Vancouver a favour by taking him on as they clearly want to use that cap space elsewhere

You can’t ever convince me that Kuzmenko has equivalent value to Lindholm. If it’s Kuzmenko + a 1st and a prospect than I’d be fine with it. Vancouver would have had to dump Kuzmenko for free

Very likely he could be the prospect in the deal. As good as he is, he's someone the Canucks could afford to part with.
