I'm so far off from you on the values in this trade it's not even funny.

I see this is a pretty huge overpayment from Vancouver.

In particular if Lindholm walks to UFA this summer.

good deal for calgary. lindholm was clearly on the way out there and committing big dollars to him would probably end up a mistake for them

pretty good for vancouver too if lindholm is still the player he was the last few years. gives them a third credible top 6 forward alongside pettersson and miller. brzustewicz and jurmo aren't the kinds of prospects you hang onto when you're trying to contend and kuzmenko had no future with tocchet

Valuewise sure it seems like a premium but we're turning Kuz into Lindholm without giving up any of our true top prospects & we clear $$$ for next season. I like it alot.
