Hunter is a nice prospect, who very well could’ve gone higher than he did in the draft, and Jurmo has a chance to play in the NHL one day.

People are going to judge Conroy unfairly in this trade because he didn’t get a Grade A prospect but the Flames need prospects like Hunter. Lindholm also hasn’t made this easy for Conroy, with his production.

As for Kuzmenko, they’ll try selling him as a legit piece but let’s face it, he was a cap dump. Now, can they get anything for him? Best case, he comes in and scores a few goals and they can get another 3rd or 4th for him.

I like brzustewicz but there isn't a road to fulfill his potential in Vancouver with Quinn running the show and Hronek riding shotgun. Throw in Willander and it's tough seeing him get more than 3rd pairing minutes and 2nd pp duties. His career is better served going to a team where he will have more opportunity in the future.
