Okay first off I recognize the Quinn to Jersey thing as a possibility. However everyone is assuming he's going to bail at the first chance he gets. I could see it being just as likely that he signs a 3 year extension to hit free agency again at the same time as Jack and they could call their shot for where they want to play. Maybe they want to go play in Michigan and bring Detroit back into a golden age? One thing that will be interesting this off-season will be what Luke's new contract looks like.
I wouldn't just assume because there are 2 of them on one team that that is what happens. It might be most likely but not a sure thing. Quinn might also feel some obligation to the team that believed in him as a smaller defence man and want to help the team as much as possibly before moving on.
What you’re suggesting is the most unlikely outcome. It’s more likely the Canucks would turn things around and Quinn forgoes playing with his brothers to sign long term there. Luke is going to get signed long term in NJ. Quinn signing for 3 years would be very shocking. You don’t see guys pass up long term deals. Jack’s not going leave Luke to go join up with Quinn elsewhere when the 3 of them can just play together in NJ.
