Mr Bosh to me is a horrible person, one that should forever be booed from Toronto. Unlike past superstars that have played here (Stoudamire, McGrady, Carter, Derozan, Lowry and even Kwahi), he will have nothing good to say about an organization and city that welcomed him to the NBA and gave him an opportunity to make a living playing the game he loved.

Ultimately everyone wanted to crucify Carter when he left. But at least he still recognizes the team that made him what he was in his career in the NBA. Carter will be the first Raptor to be inducted into the Hall of Fame, with Lowry not too long after. Both of those players should always be the Toronto Raptors and what they stand for. Not some player that needed to ride the coat tails of others to become something in the NBA.

He has been and always will be a very evil person.

That’s not really true. I agree it’s curious he didn’t mention Toronto at all, but he was an All Star as a Raptor and even made an all NBA team. He was good player that needed to be your 2nd or 3rd best to win. It wasn’t happening in Toronto so he went to Miami. It sucked as a Raptor fan, but if I’m Chris Bosh, I can’t say I wouldn’t have done the same.

Carter quit on the team and demanded a trade. I’m not sure how that’s the symbol of being a Raptor and what it stands for.

Carter over Bosh always and forever. So what that he quit on team because of his immaturity. As a grown man over the years he's done nothing but state how sorry he was and has spoken glowingly about our team and city.

The guy is going to the HOF one day and he will don the Raptors jersey. He unlike Bosh knows his roots and who helped make him into what he was and is today. Nobody can say that the Nets or any other team made Carter. It was all Raptors.

Maybe you should do a bit of research before making these kinds of claims. Bosh has credited the Raptors and his time here for how he grew as a player/man. He's said many nice things about not just the organization but the fans as well.

I just don't have any respect for someone who quits on their teammates. There's business and politics that come into it, but an athlete in team sport is supposed to compete between the lines. Pouting with a half assed effort is inexcusable. This came as a 28 year old, he wasn't a kid. He basically tanked his value and put the organization you apparently cheer for into a no-win scenario where they got virtually nothing for their star player.

Bosh never quit on his team. He went to a better situation as a free agent. Curious he didn't thank them in his speech, but anything I've ever heard from him has always been positive in reference to his time as a Raptor.

Carter made Carter? He was a lottery pick and projected star. Elite athlete and polished scorer before he ever put on a Raptor jersey. The Raptors weren't exactly known for player development in those days, to the point of jokes to how fitting the red and purple cartoon dinosaur was for that era. One could argue that Carter didn't reach the heights many of the pre-draft scouting projected. (UNC probably played into it a little but hard to deny the shades of MJ, at least to some degree on offense)

He was a good player that will make the HOF based on a tenure, the majority of which spent somewhere other than Toronto.

Won't dispute he's Hall worthy and won't dispute he was better than Bosh, but the idea he's a symbol of greatness as a Raptor is purely romanticized.

Gonna miss Leo. He's been part of the program since day one and always added substance to the broadcasts.

It won't feel the same without him.

And said that he's absolutely amazing. He is really impressed by Scottie and blown away by how talented he is. He said Siakam is a really hard worker and people shouldn't be hard on him. He said Kyle Lowry is underrated and is a dog. He said FVV is really strong. He loves Nick Nurse.

He loves Toronto the city (ranking one of the best in the NBA like everyone does). He was asking me about the Toronto FC. I told him we won the championship a couple of years ago. He loves soccer and his kids do too. It would be really cool for the Toronto FC to give him and his family the TFC experience at BMO field.

I told him it would be nice to have him on our team because he hits big shots and is a veteran leader. I did also tell him he should do what's best for him. He's been in the league for 14 years. We should give him a chance and if he's doesn't play with us, it's all good. We talked for 2 hours and he was never annoyed and we were just going back and forth like in a barbershop. He flew economy and had a connecting flight to Miami where his family lives. A real humble guy.
