vasquez is a D-league level point guard !!

Like him or not, the one thing that Vasquez possesses that keeps him NBA relevant is the one thing that is sadly lacking in a lot of NBA PGs: Playmaking ability. On a per-minute basis he actually has a similar assist rate to Lowry. Of course the differences between him and Lowry are a) Vasquez also tends to turn the ball over more because he has to force more passes through as a consequence of b) the fact that he can't shoot the ball at all means that defences can cheat toward taking away the pass.

But as long as he can come off the bench and put up 9.5+ assists per 48 minutes (and sit just outside the top 10 in assist rate), he'll have a job in the league.
