Laine will help bringing balance to the top6, but I don't think it will happen right away. He's coming back after 2 long term injuries, expects him to need time to get the ball rolling.
The morale boost I suspect will prove to be significant as an initial boost buying time for Laine to regain the wind beneath his sails

I volunteer Barron to bite the bullet
Nah.. Marty isn't going anywhere this year. No coach is going to miraculously age players mid season. The core is young, and they are surrounded by Vets who are not helping them.. it doesn't take a genius to figure out that: Army, Dvorak, Andy and Gally = together earning $25million are a noose on Martys neck.

The vets are doing more than the young guys though...

It's a given that the vets suck... what we need is for the young guys to not suck

The vets are providing their expected production, Slaf, Dach, Newhook, etc are massively underperforming

Another day, another loss.

Will Primeau be between the pipes tomorrow night ? He did not play since how many weeks now ?

He is the confirmed starter against CBJ. Not much choice here, Habs plays 2 back-to-back this week. Utah->CBJ then NYR->Bruins.

Complete tactical meltdown means they can’t get shots off, can’t sustain anything, can’t impose their will.

Shame on Slafkovsky and the Habs. If he’s injured he needs to sit, if he’s not injured he needs to sit, if he’s eager to play and gives these performances he he needs to sit.

Zero accountability. Zero standards. Losing culture. Shame on MSL and Hughes.

I was at the game tonight, brought some European friends visiting 🤦 what I don’t get is how last year this team sucked but was at least fun to watch whereas this year we both suck and are boring as hell, makes no sense
Last year we sucked but battled hard and undeservedly made it OT a lot with perseverance.
This year, we don't score first and then start moping.

Well that s what happens when you give excuse for losses 4 seasons in a row.
