Its not that wild, he's a young right shot D who played over 22 minutes a night and had a net positive impact. He's also not paid into his 30s.

Terrific offensive defensemen with some bite who can log big minutes and isn’t nearly the train wreck defensively people are making him out to be. Seems hefty but about right. I’d certainly rather invest in him than some of the other blueliner deals we are gonna see in the next week.
