Any good fish lately? We had some amazing scallops we cooked last Friday. Nothing special we did in the cooking process, the scallops themselves were just that damn good. That and some bison NY strips. So good.

Not recently no, been eating a lot of jambalaya and chili the past week though. I cooked up way too much (10 portions of each) and am trying to eat it all before the leftovers spoil

Just a simple herb dry rub on the scallops? That's usually my go-to though blackened are pretty decent too.

I am personally of the opinion that he is unfairly maligned and is actually good but all the Oil fans I know (basically just you and Klefdown; not sure about Omar) hate him

It was his one dimensional play that really irks everybody. He was always good for putting the puck in the net but that completely disappeared this season (hired some shooting coach or something) and he wasn't doing much of anything else either. Got primo time on McDavid's wing too. He seems to be buying in now and actually engaging physically, winning board battles and busting his ass for the first time ever... if he manages to keep this up, I can see sentiment turning around with him.

Will be interesting to see how he performs in the playoffs and if any of that WJC magic still remains tho...
