@Siamese Dream how often do you see buffets like the ones in Fresh Meat in the Chinese Restaurant

In America they had buffets for Chinese, Italian and Indian restaurants

And that's just the small restaurants, the bigger ones like Old Country Buffet and Golden Corrall serve all types

It's usually only for Asian cuisine but a lot of places do breakfast buffets and Pizza Hut also do the lunchtime buffet deal option

Some places that do carvery dinners also do buffets sometimes

For no f***ing reason, Mindustry won't let me restart the scenario that I'm playing, and it makes me not want to play the game at all.

Even if you purposely fail the scenario, it doesn't reset the map. It basically resumes you at wave 1, keeping any non-destroyed buildings.

Sim City used to have simulated disasters and you couldn't restart physically but you could load up a prior save. Same with Yakuza if you fail. If you didn't save beforehand you have to redo entire chapters.

Also Madden won't let you redo. Once the game starts and you quit your game it'll just pick up from the last time you played lol.

With all of those, you have the option to go back to a previous save.

I have no such option. I can either keep going or restart the entire campaign.

Another situation similar to mine:

Someone makes it to wave 109/110, but loses to the boss, so they get restarted on wave 1 with any surviving structures remaining in place.

So now there's all these structures that you can't use yet (either from lack of resources or power) that are essentially in the way of you rebuilding, which means you have to manually remove structures when you're already in a time-sensitive situation.

That's f***ing dumb.

To make it all the more confusing, I go back and play an earlier mission, only to be notified that the mission I was struggling with got completed in the background.

Well, if the mission continued without me, then some of my structures would have been destroyed, right? Nope, everything is exactly where I left it and all of the monsters are defeated.

There was a point in time where this game wasn't a confusing mess.

Ever since they did all these updates, I no longer understand this game.

You used to play one mission at a time, and when that mission ended, you would take your resources and leave the area, the mission would be completed, and you would start the next mission.

Now, it seems like every mission happens concurrently and continues on indefinitely.

Wha happun
