I stopped listening to him when Uptown Girl came out. I have 3 of his albums, The Stranger, 52nd Street, and Glass Houses, I actually did have The Stranger on the turntable a few months ago, same copy I bought 40 some years ago.

I don't think Uptown Girl is that good

I like it but he wrote so many good songs that Uptown Girl and those others ended up on the bottom of the list

I like it but he wrote so many good songs that Uptown Girl and those others ended up on the bottom of the list

He was more jazzy earlier in his career. I probably wouldn't like Glass Houses as much as I did when it came out. By the time Uptown Girl came out I wasn't following music as much as I did earlier as I had moved out on my own by then. I really don't know much of his stuff afterwards, probably would recognize a few tunes from the radio.
