Disappointing that threads about Don always get inundated with comments about how much people hate him. I get why people dislike him but hating him is something I can't wrap my head around, being someone who grew up watching coaches corner every Saturday and having my dad always say "Remember what Don says, keep your head up and your stick down" every time we hit the rink. It's hard to understate the effect Don had on millions of fledging young Canadian hockey players, he's been a huge part of Canadian hockey culture for decades and I can't imagine hockey without him. Happy Birthday Don, hope there's many more to come.
