A big limitation of Ultimate Team is that there is only a certain number of players, so they have limited promotion cards that are basically the same players with better stats.

It's all so stupid and I feel ashamed for knowing some of it.

again arbitrarily assigning players ratings without statistical merit = BAD

All of the numbers are pretty arbitrary if you think about it. What's their sample size for determining player stats? How much of each player do they watch? How do they assign a number value to a qualitative skill or a mental capability?

For example, how are they judging Zdeno Chara's wrist shot accuracy? Do they have to see him take multiple wrist shots, or do they just lazily ballpark it?
