you mention how you got into IT working and helping out and grinding your way to the top. how many certs (CompTIA / SANS) were necessary for this grind

if Larry can do it I have some hope

I only have a couple of AWS certs. Literally nothing else. Associate of Science Degree from Front Range Community College. My formal education is exceptionally thin. But I have 7 years experience now which is all anyone cares about. I can make more money getting more AWS certs assuming I say in DevOps, which I likely will.

I don't think having those certs in AWS makes me more of an expert than if I had a BS in computer science/engineering. I dunno. This is a weird conversation.

So we got a puppy two weeks ago. She's still growing, but she's not that big yet, around 20-25 pounds.

Of course she's not fully housebroken, so I have cleaned up quite a few messes. Thankfully, she tends to be smart enough to just poop or pee on the hardwood, but she takes some massive and rancid shits that make me want to throw up. I swear she has pushed out some brown confectioneries that could pass for human shit

you should probably get a shock collar so you can shock the shit out of it and associate going to the bathroom with pain so that she never goes to the bathroom again

this could also curb barking

Nope, and I do not need to. There is 0 scientifically proven evidence about the benefits of using a shock collar when training a dog. Zero. And if there are, I invite you to share those peer-reviewed articles.

It's quite the opposite, actually, especially when it comes to the dog's wellbeing.
