Count of Monte Cristo is about a man that is falsely imprisoned at a young age, meets a wise man in prison, manages to escape with a thorough plan, assumes a new identity outside, gets rich and gets his revenge. Subtle foreshadowing.

Well, it's supposed to be set in the same part of the world. This Country is also set in Gloucestershire

As I'm sure I've mentioned, the Kerry and Kurtan actors are from Cirencester which is very close to where I work and nearly everyone I work with is from there and they used to see them both in pubs all the time

I drive through South Cerney sometimes on the way home from work

This Country makes Cirencester look really shit but it's actually seen as a really desirable place to live and has really ridiculous house prices

They actually filmed it in a town called Northleach which is a smaller place because the town would look bigger than they wanted it to be portrayed if they filmed on location in Cirencester.
