Put gauge for a player shouldn’t be how he would be used and ruined under Sully.

That’s literally every player.

I wouldn't mind Kap at 1M for a year.
He had 52 points in 122 games as a Penguin, averaging 13:30 or so. Are our other bottom-sixers giving us that?

If he sucks you can just bury him in the AHL, since he earns less than 1.2M. If he turns it around here you can get a pick for him at the deadline.

Where's the risk? Didn't he have 20 points in 43 games here his last year? Could do worse.

Isn't the argument that the Pens have young players that should get the opportunity rather than veteran castoffs?

The issue with kapanen here is gonna be Mike sullivan

Otherwise, we've signed worse for more money and longer term lol

Not anymore

I'm gonna pivot us to not using young guys while MS is here
Yeah I don't think it's a Sullivan thing with Kap. Dude's just f***ing garbage, man. He was ass when he left, but he's somehow gotten even worse.

Dubas again in attendance for a Habs game. Has to be a big trade coming, last time his whole staff went.

The dude just wants free hot dogs.

What could they possibly be willing to trade that we should be interested in at this point? They’re not going to trade their youth, and if they did, what would we have they would want? We shouldn’t have any interest in any vets.

If the Pens were interested in an older bottom 6 player like Dvorak or Gallagher, there would be no need to do this much scouting. However, it would make sense if it's a developing player that's under performing and you need to see why such as Dach.

Dach does make sense. Mainly because he sucks.

Ducks and Jackets both winning so far tonight. Good news for whatever 5'10 Masshole 3C/PKer Sullivan's gonna make Dubas pick with the Pens' top-5 pick in June.

2003 and 2006. That’s right, we’re landing the rights to Ben Maxwell and Cory Urquhart. Moneypuck, baby.

Dubas is on the management staff for team Canada. He's more likely than not scouting Hyman, Bouchard, and Montembeault for that team.
