Not sure how much I like my new position.
They dump this big task on me, and the manager keeps bugging me about it when I have no idea what to do.
I've been here for 9 years, and until I started this role, I've never dreaded coming into work just like a kid dreading school on a Sunday night.
Idk, I don't like the stress and new schedule, but like f*** am I going to go back to being a shift bitch working even worse hours. However, having absolutely no expectations hoisted upon me sounds pretty nice.
Ugh.
"You got a Computer Science degree 10 years, that makes you a good coder, right?"
Well, I was never all that good at coding, and that was before I went 10 years without doing it.
"Okay, great, now just make all this shit work with no documentation, and I'm going to bug you every few days about how much progress you're not making."
