After Man of Steel, Batman v Superman, and the theatrical release of Justice League, ZSJL had a really low bar to clear.

It wasn't particularly great, but it was way better than the shit that came before it.

No Way Home got better as it went on, but I still liked Spider-verse more.

I wouldn't complain about the 2 hour and 28 minute runtime if it didn't feel the movie was dragging along for the first 90 minutes.

Pretty funny how a cartoon managed to convey emotions better than a live-action film.

Hmm, part of me thinks that when you don't recycle characters from dead franchises, you actually have to give them some kind of character and motivation, rather than just relying on the audience reacting with "I remember who that is".
