BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) — Aleksander Barkov had a goal and two assists, and the Florida Panthers won their third straight game, beating the Buffalo Sabres 6-1 on Monday night.

Anthony Duclair added a goal and an assist. Noel Acciari, Carter Verhaeghe, and Patric Hornqvist also scored during a four-goal second period. Former Sabre Brandon Montour opened the scoring for the Panthers, who lead the NHL in averaging more than four goals per game. They have out-scored opponents 15-3 during their win streak.

Mason Marchment had three assists, and Sam Reinhart one in his first game back in Buffalo following an offseason trade. Spencer Knight made 28 saves to win his first Panthers start since Feb. 1 after getting called up from the minors.

Florida opened a back-to-back trip with its fourth consecutive road victory and eighth in 10 games away from home. The Panthers (38-13-5) moved ahead of Tampa Bay (37-12-6) in the Atlantic Division with 81 points and an additional game played.

Oh but it doesn't cost $60, so it must be a piece of shit.

It's almost like it's simply beyond your comprehension that not everyone buys into the hype of the latest AAA title.

Not that AAA titles are bad, but I'm not going to go out and buy a game that doesn't appeal to me just because it's new and popular.

Short of massive graphical advancements, such as the jump from 2d to 3d or a game that pushes systems to their limits, when has graphics ever been a legitimately good reason to buy a game?

This idea that every game has to have great graphics is a limiting factor to the creative process.

The thing is, for most people (maybe not you), while you can say they mutually exclusive to how fun a game can be gameplay wise, they're not mutually exclusive to how enjoyable a gaming experience can be. "Eye candyness" is a thing.

It doesn't mean games have to have photorealistic graphics though. Zelda, Genshin, Tales of Arise, etc. all have amazing graphics. Several 2D platformers also very enjoyable graphics. Even "pixel art" still exists.
