Had a small chip on a windshield, car was new, less then 1000 on it. Very frosty fall morning and I had the defrost on. Shortly after I was startled by a loud and very crisp CRRRRAAAACCCCKKKK noise. Wound up the chip turned into a large crack covering 2/3 of the windshield. Yeah, you had better get it looked into, the windshields today are nowhere near as durable.
